Diet: Omnivorous eats live, flake, wafer, or frozen foods easily.
Behavior: Peaceful, but can vary. Keep one male with several females. Tends to nip fins.
Water: Temperature range 72° to 82°F (21-28°C) pH range: 7.0 8.0; dH range: 10 - 30°
Care: Easy, very hardy. Benefits from the addition of some aquarium salt.
Communities: Excellent, do not keep with fish that have long fins.
Suitability: Excellent.
